Welcome to ChartDrill. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of chartdrill.com (the "Site") and the day trading game it provides (the "Service"), operated by ChartDrill ("ChartDrill," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Description of the Service
ChartDrill is a free, browser-based day trading game that allows players to predict price movements using historical market data (including but not limited to BTC, Gold and Silver, data). The Service uses a virtual account balance and simulated trades — no real money, securities, currencies, or assets are involved at any point.
No account creation, sign-up, or personal information is required to use the Service.
2. Not Financial Advice
ChartDrill is an educational and entertainment practice tool only. Nothing on the Site constitutes financial, investment, trading, tax, or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, currency, commodity, or other financial instrument.
- Simulated results (win rate, P&L, balance) reflect performance on historical data under simulated conditions and do not predict or guarantee results in live markets.
- Trading real financial instruments involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Past performance — simulated or real — is not indicative of future results.
- You should consult a licensed financial advisor before making real trading or investment decisions.
3. Eligibility
The Service is intended for general audiences. If you are under the age of 13, you may not use the Site. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should only use the Site with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the Site's underlying code, data feeds, or logic without our written permission
- Use automated means (bots, scripts) to interact with the Site in a way that degrades performance or availability for others
- Misrepresent ChartDrill results as real trading performance, investment advice, or a regulated financial product
5. Intellectual Property
The Site, including its design, branding, text, graphics, software, and underlying code, is owned by ChartDrill or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial practice purposes only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Site without our prior written consent.
Historical market data displayed on the Site is used for simulation purposes and remains the property of its respective data providers/sources.
6. No Warranty
THE SITE AND SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any historical market data, simulated outcomes, or statistics displayed on the Site.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHARTDRILL AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE — INCLUDING ANY REAL-WORLD TRADING OR INVESTMENT DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE GAME.
Because the Service is free and does not involve real financial transactions, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed $0 USD.
